Emily Scott
Clay

My work and creative process reveal humankind’s connection with mother nature’s delicate balance. Finding harmony with earthly matter and the souls desire to create. My work expresses the dance between mother nature and her glorious expression of light vs. dark and movements of elemental force. I use color to represent the ever-changing sky, the sea or freshly fallen leaf; all expressions of natures ever-shifting life. My intent is for the audience to connect and feel with the Earth through the vessels I create with Earth’s source, clay.
