After suddenly losing my 18-year-old son, Grant, five years ago, I was overwhelmed with sorrow. Therefore, I began painting to heal and found that making art that was bright and colorful did wonders for my grief. I also discovered that producing happy art helped me have a more positive mood. Thus, I decided that there was a heartfelt need to make joyful and uplifting art to help one smile. I enjoy painting fun flowers, cute cats, friendly faces, lovely ladies, art angels, and life’s simple pleasures.
