I am always captivated by the changing of seasons and the waxing and waning of light. It shows in my paintings, as I am drawn so much to the play of light off of nature.

I’ve painted the sweet nostalgia of High School parades and the tall and proud downtown architectural beauties that vanguard my memories of my hometown, McKinney, Texas. The blue of the sky in a hot Texas summer is astonishing. I am delighted to paint in both oil and watercolor mediums and butterfly with joy between them both.
